Got to try the @Grande-Cosmetics Lash MD Serum for free thanks to @Influenster. Overall I’ve noticed a differences the length of my lashes. Not a huge difference, but enough of one that I would totally recommend it to someone with short or sparse lashes. It’s super easy to use and I didn’t have any irritation or darkening of my lids. I also got to try out Grande Cosmetics mascara and lash primer. The mascara is now my go to mascara. It’s great and no clumps. #GrandeGoals #Complimentary #Contest
I got to test out the new Arch Brow by Hourglass cosmetics for free thanks to influenster. I was sceptical that I would actually like it because I never do my brows and hate how they look whenever I’ve used any products in them. Arch brow is a fiber gel that only places the fibers right on your hairs. There is a dual sided brush. One side is short bristles for getting volume and definition by brushing your brow hairs against the hair growth. Then the other side has long bristles for shaping and holding the hairs in place by brushing the hairs back the way they grow. After using it a few times, I genuinely really like how it made my brows look and I felt like it completed my makeup look. Definitely great for a beginner or someone who just wants to make their brows look tamed and in place, but not overdone.
I got to test the new 3 Butter Control system from Biolage for free thanks to Influenster. The system is a shampoo, conditioner, a leave in day cream, and a night cream. I tried it out right away, washing and conditioning my hair. My first thoughts in the shower was ‘Wow! This stuff smells so good!” It has a very nice floral scent. I have dry hair and it’s colored but I wasn’t worried because there are no sulfides so it’s safe for color treated hair. There was very little color wash out so that made me happy. My hair did feel a bit hard after washing, but the conditioner softened it right up. Afterwards I towel dried my hair and then put the leave in day cream in and let my hair dry. My hair definitely had less frizz and felt softer so that was pretty great, but I wanted more. The next time I washed my hair I tried again with the day cream, but this time I blew dried my hair and then used my straightener on it. The day cream works as a heat protectant so it was the only thing I put in my hair. I seriously fell in love with this product after that. My hair looked so sleek and shiny and felt so soft to the touch. It also stayed that way for days!! The only negative thing about these products is the leave in night cream. I wasn’t a huge fan. After washing and conditioning, I towel dried my hair and put some of it in. I then braided my hair and went to sleep. After I woke up I didn’t have time to rinse it out (it says you can leave it or rinse) so I just straightened my hair. It unfortunately left my hair feeling a little weighed down and looked slightly greasy. I think it would probably work better if rinsed our. Overall I am very happy with the whole system and will definitely recommend to my friends that need a little bit of control for their hair.
